Dogboe dethrones Magdaleno in the 11th

Isaac Dogboe (19-0, 13 KO) was drop in the first round by Jessie Magdaleno (25-1), but that did not stop Dogboe from capturing gold that night. The 23-year-old Dogboe beat the count when his was drop in the first round by Magdaleno.
Magdaleno seems to have the upper hand in the early rounds. Dogboe became stronger in the middle rounds. A confident Magdaleno started to change his fighting style and began to brawl with Dogboe. Dogboe took advantage of Magdaleno fighting style and started to show he was the stronger man in the ring. Before the fight Magdaleno promise to punish and knockout Dogboe because of all the trash talk both camps did during the presser. Dogboe was able to make Magdaleno ate his words after he hurt Magdaleno in the tenth round and stop him in the eleventh round. During the tenth round, Dogboe came out throwing body shots and was able to push Magdaleno and landed a jab and a right to have Magdaleno in trouble the remainder of the tenth. Dogboe bodywork paid off in the eleventh as he dropped Magdaleno twice and the referee stops the fight. Dogboe becomes the youngest champion from Ghana and the New WBO Super Bantamweight championship.
