KERMAN LEJARRAGA VS. FRANKIE GAVIN ON ESPN+

New York, NY (November 17, 2018) Top welterweight contender Kerman "The Revolver" Lejarraga (26-0, 21 KOs), of Bilboa, Spain, will enter the ring today in front of his legion of homeland fans to defend his EBU European Welterweight Title against England's Frankie Gavin (26-3, 15 KOs) in the 12-round main event from the BEC Bizkaia Arena. The highly anticipated clash will be broadcast in the United States and can be viewed starting at 3:00 p.m. ET/12:00 p.m. PT on ESPN+.

Rapidly becoming one of the sport's most talked about fighters, the all-action, 26-year-old has knocked out 11 of his last 12 opponents. In 2018, Lejarraga has compiled two outstanding victories by knockout, against Bradley Skeete and Johnny Navarrete. He is co-promoted by DiBella Entertainment and MGZ Promotions and is currently world ranked by all four major sanctioning bodies; #4 by the WBC, #5 by the IBF, #8 by the WBA and #10 by the WBO.

The southpaw Gavin, one of England's most highly decorated amateurs and a member of the country's 2008 Olympic Team, has won three in a row since losing a WBC International title fight to Sam Eggington on October 22, 2016.

"Today will be a great introduction for American boxing fans to see Spain's Kerman Lejarraga, one of the most explosive welterweights in the world," said Lou DiBella, President of DiBella Entertainment. "A huge crowd will be in attendance and I expect an electric atmosphere when Kerman steps into the ring. I thank my partners at MGZ Promotions for the great job they have been doing with Kerman. After he takes care of business, we will begin to build Lejarraga in the United States in 2019. Make sure to tune into ESPN+ today at 3pm ET."
