Floyd Mayweather: " How Can a 6 Million Dollar Fighter Offer Me Anything?"

By Kevin Davis

Floyd Mayweather has been one of the world's best fighters, for the past 16 years. With that being said it always seems that he is being targeted as a ducker when he has given the world 43 greats without a defeat. On the openning press tour for his Pacquiao vs Marquez 4 fight in December, Pacquiao stated that he is willing to accept a 55/45 split in favor of Mayweather, to make the fight happen. One big problem, Mayweather is the draw and the A-side of the card, so…

Team Broner already making Plans to target Burns after Demarco

By Kevin Davis

Weeks away from his mega fight with hard hitting Antonio Demarco, Team Broner is already making plans to clash with the UK bomber Ricky Burns. Broner’s trainer Mike Stafford said to Bleacherreport.com “We’ll go to Ricky Burns and get that other title. He’ll [Broner] be too fast, too smart and he’s (Burns) not strong enough, these guys are too slow for Adrien. He’s a special guy, a special guy.”

Who could argue that, and these are the type of fights that will… Continue

Arum: "Tuesday we should be making an announcement on Donaire-Arce"

By Kevin Davis

Looks as if the fight is still going to happen, just not in Mexico. Nonito Donaire didn't feel as if he needed to defend his title on Arce home court, unless they backed up a huge money truck. Then you have Jorge Arce who wants to be paid like he is Donaire. Which makes this a hard cookie to crack.

Being a promoter is not as easy as it looks, because there is a ton of ego involved in boxing and to be able to maintain that and be effective at your job, speaks… Continue

By Kevin Davis

Toshiaki Nishioka is a very intelligent fighter, his only mistake was thinking too much, Oh yeah and another Nonito Donaire. He was so aware of Donaire's power, he forgot his own offense. Too many rounds he let go by before giving Donaire something to worry about.

Flores power may have had something to do with that. That first round  seemed to take the fight out of McNemar, In round two Flores body and head attack dropped McNemar three times in the rounds leaving the referee to but a stop to the action. Flores lived up to his promise the fight didn't even make it…
