Today Bernard Hopkins and Oscar De La Hoya had a meeting to discuss whether B-Hop was going to stick around and continue working with Oscar and his Goldenboy Promotions company. Recently Richard Schaefer left, Bruce Binkow left, and Oscar fired 3 of his employees. Floyd Mayweather said he was done with Oscar and his company but then Leonard Ellerbe came back and said not so fast Floyd. Leonard said they might work with Oscar. They will have to see.
Bernard Hopkins sent out a tweet that said, "Meeting went Great, We are Moving Forward @goldenboyboxing". What a breath of fresh air. It seemed like everyone was jumping ship. Oscar has weathered the storm and he is continuing to run the front office to make sure everything is on the up and up.
