I've been waiting for this fight a long time. Both fighters have had their ups and downs but Seth Mitchell has only 1 down. He revenged his defeat to Johnathan Banks and got back on the right foot. He needs to beat the likes of Chris Arreola in order to get that title shot. Chris Arreola has kinda played the door keeper lately to the up and coming Heavyweights. This fight is different.
Chris Arreola knows without a shadow of a doubt he has to beat Seth Mitchell if anyone is going to take him serious as a heavyweight contender again. Chris is in shape and looking good. He got into a little mouth to mouth debate with Seth Mitchell the other day at the press conference. Both fighters mocked each other. Come Saturday night someone will walk out the ring and the other will be laying down in the ring.
Both fighters can punch, but if I had to give the edge to either fighter it would have to be Chris Arreola. Not to take anything away from Seth Mitchell, but Chris can take some punishment and I'm not sure Seth can do the same. His shocking defeat to Johnathon Banks showed us his chin is not that solid. If Chris lands flush this Saturday then it's over and Chris is back on top. On the flip side, if Seth can outbox Chris for 12 rounds then he will move on to the next best thing and that's a Klitschko. I don't see that happening. Time will tell.
