The sport of boxing like many other things are not controlled by the ones who grew up their whole entire lives dedicated to the sport because they love it. Now it's all because it makes money. Floyd Mayweather was once in the position Adiren Broner is in now, labelled as a racist, for stating facts. Mayweather used his business savvy and clearly changed his tune, and just kept everything positive. Adrien Broner has now become the new target by corporate boxing, fearing that they can't control Broner or feel safe of what he might do next, they threaten him to a position that he will change his tune.
If we look at the facts in both cases, Floyd never said anything about Manny Pacquiao's color or race, yet they lied of him on nation television and in the news. The claim was Mayweather said Pacquiao was a 'Yellow Chump', but Mayweather never said that he said 'Young Chump', this wasn't a mistake it was a blatant misuse of power to spread lies to the masses, but using the word Yellow it turned into a race issue. Now Broner was clearly stating that any fighter could get it no matter what race they were, so how is this a racial issue. He stated that he just beat the f*** out of a Mexican, which was true. If he said I just beat the f*** out of a Wetback or Beaner, than yes, that would be a blatant racial statement, but they make a huge deal about it to try and control Broner, so that he will toe the line when it comes to his decisions.
