Could we possibly see Gennady "GGG" Golovkin vs Julio Cesar Chavez Jr at 168?

By Shawn Craddick

Is that too far fetched? Triple GGG Gennady Golovkin has been wanting to face the best at 160 or even move up to 168 if the money is right. He is not afraid to get in the ring with anyone. He would like to eventually move up to face Andre Ward who is considered by most to be the #2 P4P behind Floyd Mayweather. There is another person who wants a shot at Andre though, and that's Chavez Jr. Julio has to first get by Bryan Vera in their rematch set for March 1st. Triple GGG will also have to get by his opponent too.

How will Andre Ward be able to pick his next opponent between the two? Maybe they can have a face off with the winner fighting Andre Ward. If Ward is successful in beating either of the two, most likely he will make the jump to 175. A match up between Chavez Jr and Triple GGG would be a PPV heaven. I'm pretty sure that fight could do $1 Million in PPV. Seeing any of these 3 fight is going to be exciting. However right now, the more bigger name would be Chavez Jr vs Ward. Let's sit back and enjoy the scenery.
