First we had the Kell Brook injury and the postponement only took a coulple weeks and the fans were fine with it. Next thing we know the fight is so close and no all of a sudden Devon Alexander is hurt with bicep injury. Heads were turning and was wondering if he was getting Brook back for pushing the fight back. Everyone was a little upset but the boxing community was willing to forgive both guys for the fight getting pushed back twice. Then the unexpected happen .....
Floyd Mayweather announces "right after" Devon Alexander pulls out with a "bicep" injury that Devon is the frontrunner to face him on May 4th. Something is not adding up here all of a sudden. Devon was quoted as saying it will take up to 6 weeks for his "bicep" to heal. If that is the case, once it heals and he can start "officially" training again, he only has around 6 weeks of training he can do. Who does that?
Let's look at a couple of things. First what has Devon Alexander done to get a title shot against Floyd Mayweather? Next what happens if Devon Alexander's bicep never fully heals correctly? Even though most fans believe he is lying about it. Next what boxer is willing to "fully" train for only 6 weeks going into the biggest fight of his career? None of this makes sense at all. The fans feel cheated and especially Kell Brook. What are your thoughts?
