I remember the times when 50 Cent use to make music, now it's sad to see him used as a poster for whatever product they want to sell. Since his music career has hit the toilet, after over 40 million records sold, he latched himself to Floyd to keep himself relevant in the urban community. With that he was able to fool corporate companies into believing he was still a player in the game. Signing a deal with SMS audio, to make a jump into boxing as a promoter. With a new book, and a pure interference, with the work of Al Haymon.
50 Cent used his friendship with Mayweather to gain him interest from other companies, mainly Mayweather Promotions rival company, Top rank Promotions. 50 Cent claimed he was trying to make the fight with Pacquiao by launching an attack on Pacquiao to get this fight in motion. It was Top Rank side that said no to the fight by creating new terms of an outrageous split. 50 oce though of to be a close friend sought another route. Replace his name with Al Haymon and he can be the man in the dark getting money.
With this betrayal, 50 was dismissed from TMT and he created SMS Promotions, with not any support, he was forced to do business, with the only man who thinks 50 cent can raise their urban market, Top Rank promotions, but for that you must kiss the donkey. Now you see 50 Cent saying how Mayweather is afraid of Manny Pacquiao. How the fight with Mayweather is dead and a 5th fight with Marquez makes sense. The same 50 cent who said that Pacquiao is fighting a guy, that he just can't beat. Now 50 use to tell you in a drop of a hat Floyd would beat Pacquiao. Now he has to hesitate to say Floyd would win, Why? Pacquiao has lost his last two fights.
50 bought Gamboa from Arum, but now has to use Arum to distribute Gamboa, so Arum gets to use Gamboa for free on his Top Rank cards. Way to go 50!, that's that business magic we have to look forward to.
