You can never count Rodel Mayol out of the picture. His record now stands at 30 Wins 5 Losses with 22 of those Wins coming by way of Knockout. At 5'4 Kid Rapido still has a little bit left in his tank. Originally from Mandaue City, Cebu, Philippines he know resides in Los Angeles, California. Rodel has now won his last 4 out of 5 fights with his last win coming in Oct 27, 2011 against Ernie Marquez which was a easy tune up fight. He stopped him in the 4th round of a scheduled 8.

Now he must face Hernan Marquez for the WBA World Flyweight Title in Mexico which is Hernan's hometown. Not only does he have to beat him convincingly but he most likely needs to knock him out. Everybody knows that you cannot just walk into Mexico and just win a fight. Mexico is almost like a backyard brawl and if your the last man standing then your the Winner. Rodel knows this is his last shot at getting a crack at the Title. He must put everything on the line.

Rodel Mayol will soon be 31 yrs old this coming August and most likely if he wins, he probably won't fight more than another year or two, if that. So he might as well go out on his back fighting. He must be careful though because Hernan Marquez boast a winning record of 32 Wins with 25 of those coming by way of knockout. Of the two losses he has, only one of them was by TKO and that was against Nonito Donaire two years ago at 115lbs.
