Karceno: There was some talk of you sparring one of the Charlo brothers.
J Rock: (Cutting in) "I don't want to get into that, I just fight whoever they put in front of me."
Karceno: Ok, that's what's up, in the Hugo fight some people picked against you thought he was more skilled, but I know you brought a power factor into it, what were you're thoughts going into that fight.
J Rock: "I felt I had an advantage in everything skills speed, not just power. I just knew I was going to win the fight..you know, I don't really like to focus on that fight because it's over with..He did what he had to do and I did what I had to do hopefully we can do it again soon that's it."
Karceno: A lot of people don't know you're career started in 2010, any reason as to why people are now just starting to learn about you.
J Rock: "I had a slow year in 2012, where I only fought like once but I fought five times last year. we can't go no faster than that you know, won 16 fights and been on TV four times, so I wouldn't say my career is going slow. Everybody's road is different you know but we will see."
Karceno: Let's talk fighters in you're division you have Jermell Charlo, Austin Trout, Erislandy Lara, you have Jarmall Charlo fight Carlos Molina, how far do you think you are from a title shot?
J Rock: "A phone call away"
Karceno: (Laughs) and you don't care who has it?
J Rock: "Nope not at all, you can't be pick and choose at this level, it's all about opportunities, I believe I have the right management team, the right coach to take me where I need to be."
Karceno: Tell us some of the fighters out there in Philly that we might not have heard of that we should look out for.
J Rock: "We got some monsters coming out, we got a fighter that's like one or two in the country named Stephen Fulton Jr., then we got another one name Antonio DuBoise, he's like 3-0, we got some good fighter here in Philly."
Karceno: Okay, so have they spoke to you about a fight date yet?
J Rock: "I'm fighting in a couple of days, February 10th, in Texas on FoxSports1. I think it's in San Antonio."
