Timothy Bradley is slowly getting the respect he deserves in the boxing community. After his performance against the intelligent and powerful, Juan Manuel Marquez, Bradley stated that now he must be number three pound for pound fighter in the world. Floyd Mayweather as we all know is number one, with Ward being two and he put himself at three. I asked the boxing fans around the world about should Bradley be number three, not only did they say he has number three on lock, he has replaced Andre Ward as number two.
Now I'm not going to demote a fighter that has been gone because of injury and return with a stellar challenge. Ward has his number two spot by fighting a worthy opponent, for the status. Bradley is great but in my opinion he doesn't pass Ward just yet, but the fans are what counts and they feel Bradley's resume dumps on Andre Ward's resume. It's weird how fans turn on fighter's if they are not around, no matter if it's injury or something else.
