Floyd Mayweather the political figure?

By Kevin Davis

Many may have heard of the business deals that goes along with being an average boxer, but when you're Floyd Mayweather the deals are out of this world. Billionaire owner of the Dallas Cowboys Jerry Jones had not given up on his dreams of hosting the big fight between Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao. "Well that kind of a matchup is epic and we would want that fight right here, on the biggest stage, in Cowboy Stadium. that's where I think a fight like that belongs, and I will continue to fight to get it here."

Former President George W. Bush sent for Floyd Mayweather to attend a republican fundraiser party, in which Mayweather declined because he didn't want to take a backlash from his urban community. Very smart since there is an African American president now, even if you're not apart of his party no need to anger the masses who support you. Both parties have been trying to lure Mayweather over because they would love his support of his followers. President Obama party planners here in Chicago had a high power client list only, which included Oprah, was turned down by Mayweather, who they put on the ticket to attend by he never replied.

I don't know if he ever will be a political figure but both sides are eagerly awaiting him to join and lure his fans, to support their cause.
