Floyd Mayweather to Lose May 2015 Date to Canelo Alvarez vs Miguel Cotto???

This is exactly what Canelo Alvarez needed to try to snatch away the May 2015 date from Floyd Mayweather. Canelo Alvarez stated that he wants the Mexican fight dates for 2015. These dates are in May and September which is what Floyd usually fights on. With his win over Erislandy Lara, that will possibly setup a date for Canelo Alvarez vs Miguel Cotto. Cotto just came off a great win over Sergio Martinez at 160lbs. This is a fight that fans have wanted for a long time. The Mexican Warrior was the Puerto Rican Warrior.

Who will win the May 2015 Date? Will Floyd have to change dates? Will Canelo wrestle away the Mexican dates from Floyd? So many questions. It will be one of the greatest match ups between Goldenboy Promotions and Toprank. What a exciting 2015 and it isn't even here yet.

Trying to take the dates away from Floyd instead of just waiting for him to retire is disrespectful and stupid! Floyd has earned the right to fight whenever he wants. Not to mention he beat Saul every round and is a bigger PPV draw than he is. And it's stupid because if it does happen, Floyd fans like myself won't buy the Alvarez fight because he's showing a lack of respect. He couldn't beat Floyd in the ring so he's trying this. SMH. I guess that'll be a moral victory for him. Floyd better flex his muscle! And Oscar is right in the middle. Can't wait to hear what Floyd has to say about this.
