Karceno: Big Floyd after watching this fight against Marcos Maidana, do you see signs of your son losing a step or it was just one of those nights, where it was going to be tough no matter what.
Floyd Sr. "As we get older there are things we can't do anymore. It may come and we don't know it, but my son won the fight and showed he was tough and all that..but man..you don't have to be on the ropes that much. He didn't fight the fight we planned for."
Karceno: and what fight was that?
Floyd Sr. "We were suppose to tighten up and step to him and dig in the body, if he would have done that this fight would have been over in less than 8 rounds man. He can't take down low, every time Floyd would touch him there he freeze. His legs were buckling, if he would have kept that up, the fight would have been over quick, and the next time you will see and even better Floyd."
Karceno: Will we get to see the rematch
Floyd Sr. "Yeah if they want to see it again, my son said if they want to see it again we can do it again, his side feels like they was close and they can do it next time, then okay, let's do it again. I just don't like to see Floyd getting hit, when he don't have to, when all he has to do is go, Pop! pop! and pivot out of there man."
