In a fight of right hands Carl Froch got his groove back, In from of 80,000 fans cheering and screaming for blood on George Groves turf. London was rocking as the fireworks went off outside the ring and inside the ring. Groves came in full of confidence, using his jad and feints to keep Froch at home with his punches as Froch looked tense. As the went moved on Groves started to show signs of fatigue and Froch was becoming more relzxed and less fearful of the Groves right hand.
Froch in round 5, started using a body attack to try and slow Groves even more. In round 7, groves used a jab hook counter to rock Frock early in the round, backing Froch up he went on with his attack, but too careful for his fans. Groves boxed this fight a lot better than he did the first but trying to pace himself for a long fight, played right into Froch hands. In round eight after applying major pressure on Groves, he used a feint, left hook and then a right hand to end the contest as groves dropped like a sack of laundry.
he 26-year-old Groves (19-2, 15 KOs), who is from London, appeared to be losing a little bit of steam while Nottingham's Froch (33-2, 24 KOs) was beginning to connect more and more. Finally, in the eighth round, Froch ended the fight in thunderous fashion. Now we all wait to see what's next.
