George Groves has signed a long-term promotional deal with Sauerland ahead of the rematch with Carl Froch.

The 26-year-old has agreed a "long-term" deal and is now promoted by brothers Kalle and Nisse, who run the German-based company, less than two weeks to go before the rematch takes place live onSky Sports Box Office.

Groves, who has of course split from Adam Booth as his manager as well as trainer and also had a short-term deal with Matchroom Sport that ended last year.

He will now be part of a team that includes fellow super-middleweight Mikkel Kessler and British heavyweight David Price.

"We are proud to have won the race for George's signature and look forward to guiding one of the most exciting talents on the planet," said Kalle Sauerland.
