How did Danny Garcia fall out of the contention for a Mayweather fight?

By Kevin Davis

Due to the power of misdirection, the boxing fans and enthusiast are easy led down roads they never thought imaginable. Remember back at the end of the event 'The One', The boxing world were calling for Danny Garcia vs Floyd Mayweather, as many believed as I did Garcia has earned a shot at the Mayweather prize money.

From September to now, the boxing world has been fed doses of Amir Khan, Manny Pacquiao, and now Marcos Maidana, to the point that we have all but forgotten about Garcia. This is how marketing dollars are put to get use, and the fact that you asked for the fight you are going to get and wont remember that you did, Thank social media and the rest of the free thinking world, who feel the rest of the boxing world are morons.

Danny Garcia is now a superstar boxer who's own fame has surpassed Amir Khan, a fighter in which he has already knocked out, and no matter what story comes out of Richard Schaefer's mouth, no one is buying the fact that Khan is the best option to face Mayweather. A fight against Khan would deal heavy damage to his pound for pound status. A victory against Khan in any shape or form would be look at as a 'So what it was Khan effect'.

I'm not sure if Danny is thinking about moving up to 147. And Danny knows he can't beat Floyd. I don't think he really wants that fight.
