Showtime boxing has never had so much coverage in there history. Attention has spread to their prized network but are they giving too much power to Floyd Mayweather Jr. Fans are saying that instead of him facing the best in the division, they power giants are just looking for the opponent that will net the higher purse. CBS/ Showtime has made true to there word of backing Mayweather, but to give away ShoBox dates to his TMT stable, may just be drawing the line. Some of the TMT fighters have shown that they are not quite ready for the stage just yet, they are still developing.
Now you have novice fighters being displayed on a major network, without being properly developed for a premium network like Showtime. No matter how many times they show Floyd face and interview him, the boxing crowd are there to witness good boxing, you can't keep showing showcase fights with mediocre talent. Then Showtime is set to air more Mayweather documentaries this year. What more has happened that we need more documentaries on Floyd right now, let time past, then maybe we can do another one. You already air a four part series on Mayweather called All-Access.
