Kalamazoo, Michigan has a secret. It has a rising superstar in Nick "King Beamen" Givhan. He's 27 yrs old, 5'9 fights at 140lbs and has knocked out every opponent he has faced. He's 6-0, with 6 KO's and he's looking to keep that streak alive tomorrow when he faces Rick Sharpe. Both fighters weighed in at 146.6 lbs. Usually Nick fights at 140 lbs but since it seems harder to find people to fight him, he had to move up in weight.
Originally Nick was suppose to fight last week but the fight was postponed until Sept 21st. His trainer Terrance Thompson wanted to keep his fighter sharp so he wasted no time in finding a fight within a week. Terrance always has Nick Givhan in shape and ready to fight at anytime day or night. If you can get Comcast on FSN in Michigan then be sure to check him out. Just don't go to use the bathroom or get popcorn because you just might miss the fight. Stay tuned and let's see if Nick will leave the ring 7-0, with 7 KO's.
