By Diane Peplowski & Kevin Davis
Like a work of art on the wall of the Spencer Weisz Galleries, you just stare in awe and amazement over the tranquility of his brilliance. Karceno, the larger than life, fictionary character played by Kevin Davis, is the most entertainingly delightful person I have ever met, his onscreen antics may upset the masses, but he was very respectful as I met him at the Regal Cinema Theater. His knowledge of films surprised me as he goes on speaking with such vigor and passion, about films generation past his years.
My father, a boxing lover took me to almost every fight there was in the 'Tyson Era' and since he past away, I have not followed the sport as much until I saw Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather, the energy was building up as the anticipations grew each day, so I check social media and hmmm... There is a video calling Manny Pacquiao a cheater and his name was Karceno, and his name stuck to my brain like glue as I watched his videos over the years, and the more I watched the more I started to witness the fact, that one, my knowledge of the sport was coming back, and that he was right about of great many things.
The mighty Pacquiao, never wanted to test in the first place, now five years later he wants to, steroid issues and concerns, well Manny Pacquiao still haven't silenced those critics, and the promotion for Pacquiao was rampant, until he made unfavorable remarks about homosexuals, then his world forever changed.
Back to meeting Karceno, I must say he is truly a easy person to talk to, and is nothing like the character he plays on the YouTube via Social Media. Just charming.
