Kell Brook is Ready for Pacquiao, Khan, or Ortiz

By Shawn Craddick

Ezekiel Brook, also known as Kell Brook is the holder of British welterweight and the WBO Inter-continental Title. He was voted Britains's Young Boxer of the Year by the Boxing Writer's Club. Sporting a record of 26 Wins 0 Losses and 18 of those wins by Knockout, Kell has been calling out Pacquiao, Khan, and Ortiz. Oddly enough, nobody seems to want to face this young kid who is being hailed as the New Prince Naseem Hamed but with REAL fighting skills.

Maybe it's because nobody knows who he is outside of the UK. Truth be told, to have a household name over in the USA, you need to fight over here. Kell Brook had split from Frank Warren promotions and signed over to Matchroom Sports and his promoter now is Eddie Hearn. It seems like he is in the same spot without being able to get his name buzzing over here in the states. His next Opponent is Matthew Hatton and once again that fight will be overseas. Maybe after this fight he can get a TV spot over here under either ESPN, HBO, or Showtime. Those are the only networks that will get your name spread everywhere.

Kell Brook especially has been calling out Amir Khan to face him and they could make tremendous money in the UK and split Skysports Revenue. Amir has declined time and time again. So Kell Brook called out Amir's stablemate Manny Pacquiao saying ....

"Manny is the man to beat at the moment, and it's either him or Floyd Mayweather who is the pound-for-pound number one. Pacquiao's not unbeatable. He's been beaten before, but it will take a special fighter to beat him right now."

If Manny Pacquiao get's by Timothy Bradley then maybe we just might see Kell Brook in the line up. Of course Bob Arum would say that Kell Brook would have to be a household name first. Either in the New Stadium in Vegas or in the UK, both places would sell out fast. If Pacquiao doesn't give him a shot, then the next best thing would be Amir Khan. Maybe we might see that being Amir Khan still wants to move up to welterweight.

Also now seems that Amir Khan will finally get his rematch with Lamont Peterson.Maybe just maybe Kell Brook might be able to secure a shot against Victor Ortiz. Matter of fact if you gave him the oppurtunity he would even face Saul "Canelo" Alvarez at 154lbs. He welcome's all comers.
