In an IBF welterweight eliminator, Kell Brook (31-0, 21 KOs) scored a fourth round TKO over former world champion Vyacheslav Senchenko (34-2, 23 KOs) on Saturday night at the Motorpoint Arena in Sheffield, England. Brook avenged countryman Ricky Hatton’s career-ending loss to Senchenko by flooring the Ukrainian in rounds three and four. Senchenko beat the count, but was in no condition to continue. Time was 2:56.
Now that the contest is over a match-up against the top elite fighters should be in his grasp, but many will run away from the special talent that is Kell Brook. Amir khan has been one of the main detractors of Brook, but has yet been willing to face him in a ring or face any of the fighters, Kell has defeated. Brook is the main reason Khan hasn't moved up to welterweight, hoping someone beats him so the noise would die down, but he's still here and waiting for you.
