This week Showtime Championship Boxing will be hosting a Goldenboy Promotions event which will showcase exciting knockout artist Lucas Matthysse vs Mike "The Silent Assassin" Dallas. Lucas Matthysse sports a record of 32-2, 30KO's and Mike Dallas sports a record of 19-2-1, 8KO's. Lucas Matthysse has been in the spotlight and knows what it takes to get to that next level. He will be defending his WBC Super Lightweight Belt at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. Oscar De La Hoya promised Matthysse if he wins, he will get him some bigger fights. Dallas on the other hand is going to do whatever he can to derail those plans. Mike Dallas said it's his time to shine and prove to the world he belongs on this stage and he worked hard to get here.

I'm really looking forward to this fight, i like both guys alot. Matty has the edge in power obviously but Mike has some skills too. Mike chin will no doubt get checked so it's if his chin can stand up to it. Matty for me but i wouldn't be totally suprised if mike fights the fight of his life.
