Karceno: I know your busy, so I will get right into it, many feel the Danny Garcia fight has changed you, the fear is gone, do you feel a change in your fight approach now.
Lucas: 'I'm still the same Lucas as before, Garcia is more damaged, I feel that he took some very hard shots in that fight and I didn't really apply too much of my pressure yet, but after my eye I had to pressure him recklessly."
Karceno: how bad was the eye Lucas?
Lucas: "Well if you saw the fight it was really bad, I caught an elbow from Garcia and that effected my distance, I couldn't tell if I was in proper range, I saw three of him in the ring so the eye being shut worked better for me. That's why I want the rematch, I have watched the fight many times and I could see that he wasn't going to make it through to the end. He had really nothing on his punches, Until he saw my eye then he turned up the pressure so the ref would stop the fight, That's why I had to rush to apply pressure and push the fight because the ref would have stopped it if I didn't I felt."
Karceno: Did you see Garcia last fight?
Lucas: "I only saw highlights of the fight, but it doesn't look like he did pretty well, and the fans all tell me that they feel he lose the fight, our fight took a lot out of him, he may never be the same again."
Karceno: well you are facing John Molina, the Rocky of the 140lb division. He can take a beating and dish it out. he is willing to go life and death in that ring.
Lucas: "I really don't know too much about him, but I respect every fighter that I face, if he comes at me to knock me out, then the fans will receive a very exciting fight. I am ready."
