Accourding to Mayweather Promotions CEO, Lenard Ellerbe, Pound for Pound champion fighter, FLoyd Mayweather Jr. shall return Setember 16th, and even the location is up in the air, as well as opponent. "We're looking at opponents now," he said. "In the next two weeks we'll have that part figured out." Ellerbe stated to Dan Rafael of ESPN.
"Floyd will go on Sept. 13 and we looking at who he's going to fight and where he is going to fight," Ellerbe said. "Obviously, Las Vegas is his home and the MGM Grand is always the leading candidate but we will take a look at our other options." Always negotiating, the TMT crew, made sure the MGM Grand was put on notice that they may go elsewhere, even though the MGM Grand has showed tremendous loyalty to Mayweather Promotions.
For the opponents, the fans only want Manny Pacquiao or Marcos Maidana rematch, that's it. Team Mayweather although will never give Maidana that negotiating power, and will still dictate the terms as if they are many options to this scenario.
