The young fighters of the Floyd Mayweather created TMT standing for the The Money Team, ran into another little snag Friday night as Chris Pearson had to come off the Canvas to earn a victory over the solid veteran in Lanardo Tyner. In a super close fight two of the judges gave Pearson a five round victory, even though the other judge gave the fight to Tyner.
The next bout saw the undefeated and only fighter from Sweden Badou Jack, take on tough and skilled fighter Derek Edwards, who use to be a top prospect and started his career off at 25-0 before suffering his first loss, so he was seasoned, and as Jack started the fight he seemed dry and flat, and when he leaned in too much on his left jab, he was met with a thunderous right hand counter. It was text book and in 1:19 seconds in the fight was over.
J Leon Love had very little trouble in his night as he dominated the overwhelmed the Rhode island challenger Vladine Biosse he gave it his best but after receiving an early cut, his eye only got worse. Just seconds in the tenth and final round the ref stopped the contest, after another flurry by Love.
With FLoyd Mayweather's name tagged with these fighters anyone who fights them, regardless of record will try to impress and save their best for that night.
