Mayweather vote tactic was a distraction away from gambling bet

By Kevin Davis

Floyd Mayweather took to social media late last night after the Denver Broncos took a beating in Superbowl XLVIII by the hands of the Seattle Seahawks. it was reported eariler in the week that Mayweather had bet 10 million dollars on Denver to win, the Superbowl. Once that didn't pan out, fans took to social media to taunt Mayweather for making the bet, even though Denver was the favorite.

It was reported by another boxing website that Mayweather did not bet 10 million dollars on the game, before the game took place. That didn't seem to matter to fans, and once it was reported on Fox news, Floyd had enough. "Somebody lied to you all. If I was going to bet, I would have bet on the Seattle Seahawks. I'm the best defensive fighter, it's only right to go with the best defensive team." said Mayweather. He went on to congratulate the winning Seahawks and said if was to bet that much cash, it would be on himself because he's a sure win.

Still, the fans didn't care and bashed the champion for making such a bet, so Mayweather switched his strategy, and said "I'm going to let the fans vote. Tell me who I should fight next. Khan or Maidana?" like zombies, the fans all ran to post their picks and thoughts, like rats running to the cheese, Mayweather with one line changed the focus of the conversation to prove how dumb social media has made people, as if there picks would influence the decision. Genius.
