On June 29, 2011, I got one of the best fan photos that I will never forget!

It all started out with me driving from my home which is in Torrance at 3pm & driving out to downtown LA to attend the Mayweather-Ortiz Press Conference which was free to the public. The Press Conference was outside of Nokia LA live. Once I got to downtown LA at about 3:45pm, I paid ten dollars to have the valet guys watch my car. Once I paid for that, I waited in line to get one of those VIP passes from the Twitter Contest that Golden Boy Promotions had. The Twitter contest was to tweet #Starpower & be one of the first ten to show them after & then they will give you the VIP pass.

Unfortunately I did not get one of those passes because a couple of people cut & did not waited in line. So I was out of luck. Luckly the press conference did not start until 7:30pm but was delayed one hour. Finally when 8:30pm the press conference got going. When Floyd Mayweather, Jr. was about to make his way into the red carpet, he was signing a couple of autographs before heading to his table to start the presser.

The Press Conference went for one hour, & after it was over with, reporters & media members came to Mayweather and Ortiz for interviews that lasted for about 30-45 mins. Once those things were over with, I waited for Mayweather on the left side to where he was sitting to come to us (the fans) to sign autographs and take pictures with fans. Before he started those things again, he said that he will not go anywhere, to sign and take pictures with his fans. He also stated that he is here for his fans. Once he finished talking to us he started to sign and take pictures. Most fans just wanted his signature, while a few fans wanted a picture with him. I was in the crazy crowd wanting a picture with Floyd JR. While waiting for my turn, people were pushing & shoving each other. While waiting for my turn, the bodyguards told us "Once you have an autograph and or a picture with Floyd Mayweather, Jr., get out and let other people have there moment." Unfortunately most people that got his autograph and or picture did not listen. Instead they stuck around.

I waited and when it was my turn, I brought out my camera and got a picture with Floyd Mayweather JR! Once I got my picture with Floyd, I got out of the crazy crowd and left.

After getting the picture, I went to Starbucks, uploaded my photo from my camera and into my laptop. Once I uploaded the picture into my laptop, I uploaded it into my twitter account. After doing that, I closed my laptop, exit Starbucks, got into my car and drove home. When I got home to check back my twitter, my fan photo that I uploaded into the account got re-tweeted by Floyd Mayweather JR himself! Once he did that I had my photo viewed so far 5,700 times & it is going to get more views!

Overall the Press Conference was fun to attend to even though at the start of it I did not get a VIP pass, but in the end I got a picture with him that made up for what had happened! I will cherish that moment for the rest of life also when I have kids and grandkids I will tell them the story on how I got the fan photo with Floyd,JR. No one will take away that moment. Secondly, I want to thank Mr.Floyd Mayweather,JR. in spending extra time getting through everybody, like he said. Third, I also to thank sooo much to Floyd Mayweather JR for re-tweeting my fan photo on twitter I took with him on June 29th!

Most boxers will not spend any extra time in signing autographs and or take picutres with fans! Lastly Mayweather JR is nice, and humble of a person, it is his personality that people do not like from him. The media does not know Floyd personally. Only his friends, his team and his family know him personally.
