Oscar De La Hoya stated in San Antonio that he is selling at least 1/3 of the tickets at $10. He wants the fans to come out and support Saul Alvarez vs Austin Trout. He wants this to be as big as the Chavez vs Whitaker of 1993. So far the stadium will be reserved at 30,000 seats but it might eclipse that. So far it's being reported that at-least $800,000 has been sold in tickets and there is only about a month to go. Having the fight in San Antonio is a good move for Canelo who has a strong Mexican following. Most fight fans give this fight a 50/50 chance for either fighter. Can Trout pull the upset win like he did against Miguel Cotto? Stay tuned.

This fight is being promoted by Oscar's Goldenboy Promotions and Leija-Battah Promotions. They will be putting on more fights this year in the state of Texas.
