Manny Pacquiao on today's conference call stated that he has now found that the sport of boxing will be better off with random blood and urine testing. "I'm fine, with the random testing, it's good for the sport, and boxing." That come around, from a swift 180 degrees, when in 2009, his stance was that the test was unnecessary. Even Freddie Roach his trainer took to the fact that, the original testing was just fine.
"Floyd let the commission do there job, and we do ours as boxers and let's fight." that was Pacquiao stance in 2009, They even had a 'Floyd you are not the commission campaign' going on throughout the boxing world. Moronic boxing scribs even took the stance to agree to the fact that the tests were insignificant. If a fighter wanted to take the test then, they were looked at as being afraid.
Strange how the person asking for the test was looked at as afraid but, the one who didn't want to take the test in it's format was looked at as a national hero. Fast forward to today now everyone wants random testing with all these different kind of designer supplements out there which enhance the body quicker and more dangerously. Young undefeated boxer Omar Henry lost his life at 25 years old from a rare form of cancer, which only attack older men over the age of 40. Manny suspect he took some types of supplements, that may have cause his decline.
What did Floyd Mayweather see that the rest of the sport is now catching up to, maybe his excellent third eye skill he shows inside the ring, reaches outside the ring as well. Suspicion will always follow Manny Pacquiao because of his walking away from 40 million dollars twice to not take the test, to him now taking the tests in private away from the eyes of the world. How could we not be skeptics.
