Roach on Pacquiao "Boy. It might be over."

By Kevin Davis

Legendary trainer Freddie Roach was interviewed by ESPN's Jeremy Schaap, and was asked about the fight with Manny Pacquiao vs Juan Manuel Marquez, weeks before his fighter was knockout in six rounds. Schaap asked Roach "What if Manny Pacquiao lost this fight, what does it mean for his fighter."  Roach responded "Boy. It might be over. Losing this fight would be devastating for Manny's career."

Sure this was before the thunder but seeing how he went out and that was the best Pacquiao that has went into a fight according to Team Pacquiao, maybe it's time for Manny Pacquiao to hang up the gloves once and for all. Roach stated that Pacquiao would go down as one of the greatest fighters of this era, so what's keeping him around, I hope it isn't the Mayweather fight because after that knocked out he suffered, There is only a slim chance of him escaping the ring against a fight like Floyd Mayweather without getting knocked out.
