Roy Jones Jr Will Not Fight Anderson Silva Now, Career is OVER - Breaks Leg - Picture Inside

By Shawn Craddick

There was some that was looking forward to Roy Jones Jr fighting Anderson Silva in a Boxing Match. There was a build up to that fight and it was all riding on Silva winning in a rematch against Chris Weidman. This was a chance for Anderson to get his belt back, win the rematch, and setup a big fight against Roy Jones. That all went down the drain tonight.

In the second round Anderson Silva through a leg kick and his leg broke in half. If you don't have a strong stomach then you don't need to watch the replays. With a break like that it could very possibly end the career of Silva. Even if he takes a year to recover, that is time lost for Roy Jones who is getting older. That fight most likely will never ever take place now.
