The Pacquaio that fought Marquez better not show up against Bradley

By Kevin Davis

The times have been great for Manny Pacquiao, beautiful wife, kids, a congressman, and world boxing champion. With a cpuntry backing his every move what more is there for Pacquiao to do. Ebter Timothy Bradley an undefeated young World Champion who is hungry, not just for the money, but for the spot of P4P.

Last November, we saw what happened when Pacquiao fought a pure boxer for the first time in over five years. He was outclassed at every turn. Marquez owned him in the majority of the rounds only to have the judges take a victory away from him because of politics. If Pacquiao take Bradley for granted he could be in for a rougher evening than he expected.

Could this be the end for Pacquiao mania? I don't know for sure but Pacquiao must find something inside of him that still wants to win. Motivation is key in fights like these. Plus Pacquiao seemed to be a little bored that the Mayweather fight couldn't be made or the Cotto one. Bradley name doesn't make Pacquiao want to get off the couch but he better understand that Bradley wont be coming to lay down.

When a fighter says he will go forward this usually means he will do the opposite. Who in their right mind will let their opponent know their intentions. Pac did play the waiting game and that nearly back fired. Pac did not, I repeat, did not delivered a good fight plan. Roach delivers the fight plan and even he said Pac didn't stick to the fight plan. I am not questioning the outcome of the fight I am merely assuming, from both Roach and Ariza's prediction of a knockout, that since Pac is around them both all the time during training camp that he himself did believe that he was going to knock him out. This is a very fair assumption. Pac is usually the one that dictates the fight but in my opinion he fought JMM's fight. If you didn't see that I don't know what else to tell you.

Given the circumstances on that 3rd fight with Marquez, that was the most pathetic fight of Pacquiao since he became a star..Over confidence contributed to that poor showing..A 4th fight is still a must up to this point, there has to be a decisive win..Atlast, someone who's weight is right on the vicinity of Pacquiao's true size, and a young gun and undefeated at that in Bradley. it would be an interesting fight, same as Cotto-Mayweather.. Very good for boxing nonetheless.

Haha i see you have problem reading, i didnt say all counter puncher are pure boxer i said " counter puncher & pure boxer'" that is two different things.

Moral was a boxer and he beat the shiit out of manny, before they drain him, but he wasnt a counter puncher.

Marquez is a good boxer and counterpuncher let me see he gave manny boxing lesson and the last one was i November last year i hope he took some notes lol.

And to be a boxer doesnt need to be a defensive fighter, that alone show the short knowleg you have for sport and you try to look good by throw couple of names so we thing you know boxing give me a break if you knew what you was saying you would of be ashamed by it. you act like you trained manny for his last fight and you are here call me "idiot and freak" you cant make everyone been fooling by stuff which fool your head and think i will just accept it.

And to sett the record straight i didnt say anything about boxer been like floyd but i told you which style mann have problem with and it been proved and its fact, but since you brought him up by yourself i will tell you this floyd will beat the shiit of manny if the will fight oneday and the reason for that is this; floyd have better footwork,he is a boxer and static say 80% of a time boxer beat a fighter, he got a long reach which i see will make it diffucalt for manny to get inside, he is bigger and stronger than manny, he got better defense, it will be one side fight and maybe even KO or KTO down the way.

This writer had not seen the compubox stat results for every punches percentage that landed and volume of punches thrown or he simply ignored those facts because of his biased views. Another is the fact that Manny was aggressor and the defending champion. This factors (punches landed and the aggressiveness & defending champion) was considered by those judges who were competent and expert enough i should say have pointed out the real victorious between Pacman and Marquez. This writer is being stupid in his write up.

Lol you do know that they wanted to knockout Marquez inn 6th round but failed, this was a fight that manny was suppose to make a statement but didnt go well as plan and no he didnt adjust to anything, manny was out of the game plan even roach was saying he didnt go with game plan they had that why he had problem in the ring,

and yes was some politic stuff involve in that fight that why the outcome was different than what many people saw i had marquez winning the fight,

Bob arum told marquez before the post fight"its all business"

Team pac they said manny had improve a lot and his right hand was deadly and that was the reason floyd was even afraid of him according to them and that is was the best training they everhad and stuff lol even he Ariza stated that "even God cant win against manny" not accurate this but was something  like that.

PS: Manny will always have problem with pure boxer and good counter puncher.

In my opinion Pac went into that fight with the intentions of knocking him out. He totally went away from his strengths and instead of fighting with that carefree instinct he is known for he tried to out think a very good counter puncher. He literally tried to counter punch a counter puncher and he will lose that battle every time. He should go back to what he is good at and let the chips fall where they may.

seems that you are biaz of what you have written or just you don't have the real outcome of the fights between Marques and Pacquaio? Just do a research! but i agree with you if pac take for granted his fight with Bradly like what he did with Maquez.....
