In an explosive interview Top Rank Promotions President Bob Arum wanted to address the issues Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer has brought up against him, hold your hat. 

KARCENO: Now just today we heard that Richard Schaefer said that he is willing to put down 3 million dollars on the Donaire vs Mares fight as long as Top Rank steps aside.

ARUM: "First off, all of that is full of s***, if you want to make a fight with us you put it in writing. Whatever the sum of money you don't go to Boxingscene and say it, put it in a letter. I haven't had and conversation with them or a letter. I don't deal with all this nonsense if you want to do business then you put it in a letter so you are legally bound. If not you're just bullshitting."

KARCENO: So he just throwing stuff against the wall to see if it sticks

ARUM: "Yeah you don't negotiate that way, I haven't negotiated with him. I got a call from Espinoza Jr. and we discussed the situation and what will happen to get it done, and I never went to the press and spoke about it. Now Schaefer comes out with this offer and it's b******* until he puts it in writing. Once he does that we may consider it, if it's acceptable. If we do accept it, that m*********** is bound!"

KARCENO: He also stated that maybe you don't have the revenue sources, they have to maximize the event.

ARUM: "Yeah, It's all b*******, put you're money where you mouth is!

KARCENO: I just can't believe he would say, you might not have the revenue sources.

ARUM: " He can say whatever he wants, he's a poor schmuck and that's all he is...this is like dumb! dumber than dumb! If you want to make a fight, than m*********** put it in writing, and if we accept it and you're bound. We can sue you're ass when you can't come up with the money."

KARCENO: And they should know you will sue them if they don't come up with the money!

ARUM: "You're f****** a right about that!"
