Nate Jones former 96 Olympic bronze medal winner and assistant trainer of Floyd Mayweather, told BoxingSocialist that Mayweather is looking so sharp that this fight Sept.14 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, against Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez. "Canelo may be strong and big and all that, but i'm telling we gon dig in his ass." said Jones. When Jones talk about boxing, or a fight coming up, his energy level turns up, it's like plugging him into a electrical socket, he becomes alive. Boxing is his passion.
"It ain't no secret, I'm telling you Floyd is so sharp he's going to get that boy out of there in about six rounds, that boy is going to say damn, I didn't know he was that good, what did I get myself into. Now I got to get my ass beat. Brutal, it's going to be brutal." When Nate gets energized it's like he's getting in the ring on Sept.14th. "I told Canelo when he and Floyd was face to face, we gon tear you ass up." I don't think Canelo understood him, all the way, but I think he got the point.
