Will 50 Cent antics translate to sales?

By Kevin Davis

Curtis '50 Cent' Jackson is a very clever man, he managed to expose the mental flaws of the general public. Knowing that his own name isn't that popular he knew how to use his former relationship with Floyd Mayweather to market his G-Unit reunion album. The public at up the fact that Floyd Mayweather couldn't read as so they thought. Fans were laughing and sharing audio made by the Breakfast Club. Due to the lack of knowledge of what goes on behind the scenes, the public just went crazy but once it was expose by myself that the champ could read, 50 took a new route.

On the Angie Martinez show, 50 took a step back by, saying "he can read" after there was a video getting 5 million hits on Worldstarhiphop proving that fact. The question is that after all this will the fans care enough to buy the new album by the Unit, and the answer is not really, today's general public attention span last about a half of a day, after that they switch to other material that doesn't make any sense. Most try to fit four different subject into one setting. They would argue football in one chatroom, then rap in another, followed by a reality show, then some video vixen. I wish 50 Cent success, but the route he takes gets played out over the years.
