I've got to tell you something. Every time I bet against Timothy Bradley he makes me eat my words. After tonight, I have to give the man the credit he has been looking for. I'm a believer in Timothy Bradley now. This fight made me a Timothy Bradley fan. Bradley has the heart, the conditioning, the will, and the nonstop relentless attack to give anyone problems. When the fight is even slightly close, he can dig down deep and pull off the win. He did that tonight by getting a split decision against Juan Manuel Marquez. I had the fight a dead even draw, but the judge saw Bradley as the winner.
With this in mind. Is it possible that Timothy Bradley could pull off the upset against Floyd Mayweather? When we bet against Floyd or say that this is the guy that can pull off the upset, Floyd wins easy. Everyone says that they have the blueprint to beat Floyd but they all come up short except for one man. Floyd's toughest fight against Jose Castillo. Not that Castillo was more skilled than Floyd, but that he had that nonstop pressure fighting that made Floyd work all 12 rounds. Hence, Timothy Bradley.
Bradley has that style of fighting that would make Floyd work all 12 rounds without a breather. If he takes a breath, it could cost him the round. Sure Floyd can counter and land accurately when he wants to on Bradley. Sure he is faster and can beat Bradley to the punch. One thing Floyd can't out do Bradley in is out working him the entire round. This is what could make the Floyd vs Timothy fight interesting. Floyd would most likely get the win, but it will be a hard fight for him to win because Floyd likes to save his energy and not throw alot of unnecessary punches but land with accuracy. Bradley doesn't care. As long as I hit you somewhere, I'm happy.
